This is a TM game similar to Royal Envoy and the Timebuilders series. You construct houses and other buildings, collect rent and try to complete the level objectives before time runs out to attain an expert score. I was impressed that in the settings I could adjust the resolution to the full 1920x1200 that my monitor supports. However, I didn't quite like the 3D buildings, people and animals as it just doesn't look as nice as some pretty 2D art. The gameplay is not quite the clickfest that Dash-style games are like, however you do have to respond quickly (to collect rent or replenish food/water) if you want to finish the level in expert time. You can complete the level after the timer runs out, so don't worry about not being fast enough to move on. There is not much variety in the strategy you have to employ to complete each level. While you have several buildings you can construct, most of them are useless and you wouldn't build them unless you have to as a level objective. This is in contrast to the other games mentioned above where you have to make careful decisions about what, when and where to build to get an expert score. If you just follow the basic strategy of: 1) build a well, quarry and farm, 2) upgrade the quarry fully, 3) build residential dwellings and upgrade them fully, you will get an expert score every time. I do enjoy this genre so this was a fun little game for me and I don't regret buying it, but I would recommend you play the Royal Envoy series then the Timebuilders series first (in that order), then if you still want more check this one out.
i love this games and it's fun for challenge
I loved this game! It is a clicking/builder/strategy game similar to Timebuilders, Royal Envoy etc. It starts out quite straightforward and easy and gradually becomes more and more difficult. It is a lot of fun, especially if you like an Egyptian theme. The graphics are clear and a pleasure to look at, and the animations are wonderful, with little suprises throughout the levels. The soundtrack is great and there is a wonderful sense of humour throughout the entire game.
Facts are accurate and good fun!
I love games like this and I especially love the fact that you can play in a relaxed mode. For me, having the opportunity to take my time and build everything is wonderful.
I do not listen to music when I play games so hence the 4 star, but the other sounds are good. Very fast on the later levels and challenging, enjoyable good fun story, thieves to get rid of among other things! Definitely on some levels have to think about it before you start clicking the level. Easy on the eye and particularly like the fact that you do not have to buy workers you have continuous unlimited amount! Great fun, even relaxing still one of my all time fall back fav,s. Never get tired of this game, and play it very often as relaxation like coming back to an old friend! Even though I have played through this many times I still get caught out on some levels if I am not paying attention.
I liked the game. It is fun and very nice. It somehow reminds me of Royal Envoy. Try it out
I thought I'd like this game because I liked the time builder series time management games... but did not like this one at all, did not even finish the hour trail. The graphics are not as good as the Time Builders series and the motion of the characters seem antiquated.
I only played the demo but it is similar to Royal Envoy but not nearly as fun! Graphics are ok, not great quality, actual game layout was not very interesting...I assume it gets challenging but as far as I could tell there was not a ton of problem solving necessary. I got bored...
I usually love this type of game but I do not like games you have to click your mouse a great deal as that leads to sore wrists (at least for me). This game often when you click on something, it doesn't take so you have to keep clicking on it. It is very frustrating so I can only play a few levels then I have to quit as my wrist is killing me and it gets to the point I am just reflexively clicking everything over and over again. I am not the only person that had this problem with the game. Check the game forum.
